I dont get to exercise everyday, how effective is protein powder without exercise?

Realistically, protein powder is best used for people who are doing weight lifting and weight training (toning only…usually ladies). Taking protein powder after doing pushups and crunches is somewhat beneficial. Of course, the biggest gain you will see is in the chest due to the pushups. Doing pushups with your arms at shoulder-width and a little beyond…works the outer chest. Doing pushups with your hands right next to each other, works the inner chest muscles and the triceps very well. You will also see improvement in these areas. However…if you do the inner pushups…you won’t want huge triceps and little biceps. So you might want to think about getting some dumbbells and doing simple curls to even out the difference in size of biceps and triceps. Taking it on cardio days will not really do much for you. Cardio works the heart…but the heart is pretty strong as it is, and protein powder doesn’t affect the heart much, of course. A little protein is okay to take on these days…
