I don believe in national rankings, why should Pitzer?

Whether you believe in the validity of national rankings or not, others do, including future Pitzer students and their parents. Ignoring the rankings will not make them go away. That said, Pitzer does not bend to reflect everything that the rankings want to see, but why not respond to the parts that do not take away from the Pitzer College mission? Giving to Pitzer not only affects the rankings, but also helps to support current and future projects on campus.
