I do the eliptical 30 mins a day 3-4 times a week and I don snack too much. How come I can lose my gut?
Have you eliminated beer? There are several steps you should take at this point. #1: Eliminate certain “bad” foods from your diet completely. My first suggestion would be sugar because it’s a natural, quick energy source. You don’t want your body to use sugar as energy because you want it to be burning FAT as energy! No sugar at all. No sweets. #2: More fiber. Green Leafy veggies will help your body digest every meal a whole lot better. I suggest drinking a 6oz can of V8 with every meal. #3: More Cardio work. You should be doing 30-45 minutes of intense cardio each day. This means running or biking or “ellipticalling” at a level that is hard enough that you cannot carry on a conversation because you’re breathing too hard. #4: Eliminate all complex carbohydrates COMPLETELY. This means no pasta, no potatoes, no starches, no white breads. Switch EVERYTHING over to WHEAT! Whole grains and wheat pasta, breads, and tortillas are great for making this change.
