I do not have a valid credit card. Can I still use the online FMCSA Registration Process if, for example, I use a friend or relatives credit card?
No. The credit card is used as an electronic signature for the motor carrier applying for a USDOT Number. You will have to mail or fax your MCS-150/MCS-150B applications. The exception to this rule is if an agent is filing a motor carrier’s applications, the agent may use his or her credit card to sign the MCS-150/MCS-150B.
