I didn start taking YAZ the day of my period, am i still protected from pregnancy?
I have a question. I have been using YAZ for almost a month already . I have been using it for acne purposes. I didn’t start when i got my period because my period is irregular. I started on a Wednesday and just kept going on from there. Taking it at the same time every morning. Am i still protected from getting pregnant if i didnt start the day of my period? Or what? Please answer someone thankyou. A: Once you start taking BC you periods become regulated. So your irregular period should happen when you take the “off” pills. You should always use a condom when you change or start BC for the first month, because it takes at least one cycle to get it all working correctly. And of course, BC doesn’t protect you from STDs.
