I didn read the instructions and gave Smashwords the wrong ISBN. Now what?
If your book has not been distributed to retailers yet (check your Channel Manager), then contact us immediately via the Comments/Questions link at the top of the page and email us a hyperlink to the book page. We can remove the ISBN for you. However, if the book as already shipped out to retailers, we cannot remove the ISBN, it’s too late. If your book achieves full distribution, then you can ignore the problem. If it prevents full distribution, contact us and we can try to work with retailers to untangle the mess. Please carefully read the simple instructions on the ISBN Manager before you attach an ISBN.
