I did a search of my University’s catalog from the RefWorks Search/Online Catalog or Database area and it didn’t show up in my results (and I know it is there!). Why?
You will always get better search results by searching directly in the catalog or data source. The searching protocol used in the Search/Online Catalog or Database area will provide some basic searching, but not to the level of detail that searching directly does. We always recommend for complex searching strategies — search the source directly.
