No. Deleting an item simply deletes the listing on your page view. This can be useful when you have paid via a method other than paypal & no longer wish to view the transaction every time you login to eBay. However, deleting the item does NOT cancel an item, and does NOT release you from your obligation to pay & complete the transaction.
