I currently subscribe to the EverQuest II live subscription service. What happens if I start playing with a new character in EverQuest II Extended and I cancel my regular subscription?

While your EQII live subscription is closed, you’ll be unable to log into the regular EQII live subscription-based service. However, if you ever decide to renew your EQII subscription, you characters will still be there and you can resume playing. When you start playing Extended, you will begin gameplay as a Free member or you can purchase a Silver, Gold, or Platinum membership, if you like.
