No, you do not need to upgrade your server software. The new rights management capabilities in Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server 7.2 require only client-side installation of new application-specific LiveCycle Policy Server extensions. These extensions will be installed as plug-ins in Microsoft Word 2003 and Excel 2003. Likewise, you can use LiveCycle Policy Server 7.0.2 with the CATIA extension; simply install the extension in Dassault Systèmes CATIA V5 to take advantage of the new rights management capabilities in your design workflow.
