Yes. You can request an extension of your current Post-Graduation Work Permit to get the additional time granted by the new regulations. So, for instance, if you currently have a 2 year Post-Graduation Work Permit, you can request an extension for an additional year to make a total of 3 years (as long as your program of studies was 2 years or more in length).
