Adobe InDesign embeds CID fonts [Character Identification fonts] when files are exported as PDF. Jaws PDF Editor v1.x does not support CID fonts and therefore the text is not displayed correctly. Please upgrade to Jaws PDF Editor v2.0 or higher. back to top When I copy some text from a PDF file and paste it into another application, the line breaks are not the same as in the original file. Answer: The internal structure of PDF files varies widely depending on what version of PDF they are and how they were created. Jaws PDF Editor makes its determination of where line breaks should be based on this internal structure and some PDF files have internal characteristics that make the preservation of line breaks very difficult.
