I crashed my vehicle and the auto insurance appraiser said AllState will purchase the vehicle from me because the cost to fix it will be more than what the car is worth. When I buy my next car, should I go with a different auto insurance company because my premium would go up if I stayed with AllState for the new vehicle? A: Your premium will go up, regardless. Unless you decide to make a fraudulent report, and NOT tell your new insurance about the accident. Which they will be able to find out anyway.
