I configured my Universal Plug-and-Play (UPnP) router as the detection gateway but DynSite never detects a connection and always appear offline. Whats wrong?
First make sure that UPnP is supported by your system and installed. It is only available in Windows 98/98SE with Internet Connection Sharing installed, Windows ME, Windows XP and later. Windows NT, 2000 and 2003 don’t support UPnP. To install UPnP in Windows XP: • click Start > Control Panel • double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon • in Add or Remove Programs, click Add/Remove Windows Components • in Windows Components Wizard, click Network Services • click the Details… button • tick Internet Gateway Device Discovery and Control Client and UPnP User Interface • click OK • click Next and wait for the installation of the components • click Finish To install UPnP in Windows ME: • click Start > Settings > Control Panel • double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon • in Add or Remove Programs Properties click Windows Setup tab • select Communications • click the Details… button • tick Universal Plug and Play • click OK twice To install UPnP in Windows 98/98SE: • Run netsetup.exe
