This is usually a Linux/GNOME problem, where the Gnome keyboard shortcuts are interfering with the Eclipse shortcuts. Go to the Keyboard shortcuts (which might be something like Desktop → Control Center → Keyboard Shortcuts or System → Preferences → Keyboard Shortcuts) and disable both of these shortcuts: • Move one workspace up • Move one workspace down See also: keyboard mappings on Linux.
