The images that cannot be rotated may be Protected, or they may not have been taken by this camera. The ROTATE tool alters a digital file by modifying its layout. However, the Protect tool prohibits changes to Protected digital files. Therefore, Protected files cannot be rotated. If you wish to rotate a Protected image, you must first remove the Protection. Then you can use the ROTATE tool to turn the image. You can re-apply the protection to the file after it has been rotated. Images captured at resolutions not supported by the FE-210, such as those transferred to the camera from a computer or optional memory card, may not be able to be rotated. Movie files cannot be rotated. Images registered in MY FAVORITE cannot be rotated. If you would like to rotate an image in MY FAVORITE and have not yet erased the original source image, rotate the source file and then register it in MY FAVORITE.
