I can open my Creator 4 files in Creator2. Whats wrong?
Ads created in older versions of Creator (before Creator2) need to be exported as CIF files, and then opened through Creator2. When you open and then save the ad in Creator2, it immediately becomes a Creator2 document and cannot be opened in an old Creator again. There are scripts in Creator2’s script folder that will convert the old Creator ad for you. We also included a script that will convert an entire folder of Creator files. This script is titled “Creator Batch Conversion,” and it is located on your installation CD in the folder, Creator to C2 conversion. When we convert ads from Multi-Ad 4.0.1 to Creator2, we are getting a baseline shift. When the CIF file is loaded, its auto leading setting is read in and correctly applied to all of the auto leaded text in the document.
