I can log on to WebCT. Whats wrong?
The problem can have several sources. 1. Be sure to access the correct page. It is available in accessing the electronic classroom, and also by going to the WebCT front login page. 2. The student may have the caps lock key on or be typing in capital and lowercase letters. WebCT is case sensitive and the user name and ids have been set up in only lowercase. When the prompts for the user name and password come up, type them in lower case as directed in #s 5 and 6 above: user name – bi020378 password – 1068 3. If a student has changed the PIN (password) via Telephone/Web registration, that could be the problem. The mainframe computer does not automatically share this information with the WebCT computer, so WebCT is still using the old password from the above instructions. Anyone who has forgotten the PIN s/he created, may call Support Central at 220-1616. 4.
