I can log into the my.american.edu portal. Whats wrong?
This could be caused by several different issues: • Your password expires every 90 days. You should see the above question about resetting your password using your secret question and answer, or contact the IT Help Desk at 202-885-2550, helpdesk@american.edu, or AskAmericanUHelp for assistance. • The portal is unavailable for maintenance every Sunday morning from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. There are some times that the maintenance period is extended for a few hours and you can check the System Status page to see if that is the case. • Your Web browser, (such as Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari), might not be letting you log into the portal correctly. Try clearing your browser cache, or try using another Web browser to see if the problem goes away.
