Are you using Netscape? The RedViewer web application is designed and tested to work with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, and may not work properly with another web browser. Open RedViewer using Internet Explorer 5 and you should have no trouble. (If you are using Internet Explorer 4, or another earlier version, you may need to upgrade to Internet Explorer 5.) Q: RedViewer returns the following error message: Unable to display MapService. Server returned: Requested image is too big and cannot be created. A: Are you using a screen resolution higher than 1280X1024? If you use a very high screen resolution you will be requesting a map image larger than the map service can generate. Try setting your screen image to 1280X1024.
