Unfortunately, it appears that Verizon has limited access to the GPS chip in the Blackberry (e.g. BB 8830, 8130, etc) for 3rd-party applications. For more information on this please click here or visit http://forums.crackberry.com/f61/gps-verizon-8830-update-1279/ . I wish we had better news for you but this is out of our control. All of the other features within IntelliGolf work fine with the Blackberry (e.g. scoring, statistics, sidegames, etc). As such, we would recommend that Verizon Blackberry customers get the IntelliGolf Birdie edition (vs Eagle edition) as it does not include GPS support and is $10 less, or switch carriers (e.g. AT&T, etc). There is more information on the Birdie edition by clicking here.
