I can get a Front Page discussion group, feedback form, search bot, or other component to work. How do I fix this?
This problem occasionally occurs spontaneously after a long period of successful operation of the component. More often, it happens on the first installation of a component or after a major site upload. First, check that everything is set up correctly. Often, you will be able to test the functionality of feedback forms and the like on your local Personal Web Server. See the next question for one notable exception. When you publish the web, check to be sure there are no transmission errors and that the final message from the Front Page Explorer is similar to “Web Published.” If your forms or components still do not work, close the web. Click on File | Open a New Web. When you see the dialog box, click on “more webs” and enter the full domain name of the web, ie: http://www.mycompanyname.com. You should be asked for your username and password. Once the web is loaded, click on Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks. This triggers a process that evaluates the condition of the web and reinstalls an
