YouTube Downloader uses the same URL to download the video that your web browser uses to display the web page. Look at the address bar of your browser near the top of your browser window and see the small YouTube logo and a URL such as “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcLBRJ3rJts”? Copy the URL from there and paste it into YouTube Downloader and click the “Download” button to download that video to your computer. Note that this is not the information from the “embed this video” button on YouTube, e.g. “iframe…” or “http://youtube.com/embed/…”. YouTube changed their website in January 2011 and the html code given by the “Embed” button will no longer work in YouTube Downloader.
