Most likely your archived messages are stored in a .pst file that was accidentally closed. To reopen a closed .pst, sequentially click FILE, OPEN, then choose “Outlook Data File.” Respond as needed to pop-up dialogs; navigate to the location where the .pst was saved (e.g., H: or C: drive) and open the file. If you cannot find the file or do not know what it was called, contact the Helpdesk at 301-619-2049.
