I can build a shrine to my favorite God! Whats going on?
First, make sure that you have sacrificed for mysteries. You cannot build unless your god-talkers know a blessing for each level of temple, i.e., for shrines, one blessing is needed, for temples, two, and for great temples, three. Next, check that you have enough trade goods. Shrines cost 10 goods, Temples 50, Great Temples, 100. If you don’t have the dosh, you don’t get the build button. Finally, some Gods are better than other Gods. That is, many Gods only can have a shrine, some a temple and some a great temple.
