• The “Say-It” feature requires installing a text-to-speech engine. This free engine is not part of the Babylon installation and has to be downloaded and installed separately. Here are the links to download the text to speech component for English: http://www.babylon.com/files/bab_ttsf.exe (for female voice)After you’ve installed it, make sure that Babylon recognizes this component: right click the Babylon icon (at bottom of the screen) -> choose Configuration -> select the “Voice” tab and make sure the “Voice:” has a component to it (SAM). If you want to download a different text to speech component for other pronunciations you may refer to this page under Microsoft’s web site: http://www.microsoft.com/msagent/downloads/user.aspx The non English components are under section “Text-to-speech engines”.
