These are NOT supplied with Windows XP but come with Microsoft Office which you need to buy and install seperately. Sometimes manufacturers will bundle Office or Works with new PCs. Alternatives include WordPerfect Office, Lotus Smartsuite, Lotus Symphony, OpenOffice (free), StarOffice, AbiWord (free), Easy Office, Ability Office, Microsoft Works and Tesco Complete Office. There are now some online office products such as Office Live and Google Docs. You can download a time limited trial version of Office from Microsoft’s Trial Page.
