I cannot believe that over 80% of the districts budget goes to employee salaries! Why are we wasting so much money on teachers?
We challenge you to look at all organizations/companies (profit and non-profit) and find one whose biggest expenditures were not on employee or investor salaries. The practice of educating children is providing a service to the public. As with most service-oriented organizations, most of their expenditures will be to compensate employees for their services. The notion that Ross teachers are overpaid is completely unwarranted and cannot be backed up by any substantial data. So, in short, no money is being wasted on our teachers. Their contributions to our community are priceless. They provide the foundations for our children’s futures, both academically and professionally.
