I cannot advise you medication as we are not allowed for patient safety. the effects of the actual medical will depend on the extension of the inflammation and the damages, however you should see a bit of amelioration in your site as decrease the burning sensation, but not necessarely the reflux as for now, unless there is no hiatal hernia where the reflux should stop. you should take measures as pillows 20 cm above the bed level not eat at least 2 h before bed and avoid all alcohol, spicy food and foods that give gases and no smoking. Because fatty foods, mints, chocolates, alcohol, nicotine and caffeinated beverages such as coffee or colas relax the LES, you may be able to reduce the amount of acid reflux you experience by avoiding these foods. Carbonated drinks, citrus fruits and juices, and tomato sauce may irritate the lining of your esophagus and make the effects of GERD more severe. Cutting these foods from your diet will reduce the severity of the symptoms.
