One way to tell if PDA is actually trying to connect is by looking at the LED on the EthIR Beam, it should be blinking. If it stays dim, then the PDA is not connecting, at least not using IR. Make sure your PDA is configured properly to use IR to connect. We Provide —ClarinetIR” to automatically configure both PalmOS and PocketPC devices to connect using IR.
