I can hear the people in the neighbouring flat. What can be done?
Noise nuisance law cannot be used to resolve certain noise problems. These include cases of noise arising from ordinary domestic use. For example, vacuuming during the day or toilet flushing, unless the noise is especially unusual or unreasonable; and normal domestic noise arising from poor sound insulation.
