I can access my DVR over the network by entering the IP address of the DVR into the browser window, but when I enter the address when accessing remotely I can not connect, what is wrong?
You can only use the IP address of the DVR to connect to it from computers that are on the same network, when you connect from a remote computer you need to use the public IP address of the router the DVR is attached to. You can get this addess by going to www.myipaddress.com from a computer that is attached to the same router as the DVR. • When I try to install the SuperDVR program I get an error message-cant create surface, how do I get around this error message. The SuperDVR is having problems communicating with the video card on the system through the Direct Draw program in Windows.
