I can access everything except my email through MyLander. What is going on?
When the MyLander portal was integrated with Bearcat Web, Blackboard and your email, there were a small number of accounts that were allowed to log in using the email prefix and Bearcat Web PIN as the password. Those accounts are able to access information from Bearcat web and Blackboard; however, they are not able to authenticate properly to access your email information. In order to clear this situation, you need to log in to the MyLander portal with your email prefix and email password. You will see a window that asks for your old system password. Enter your Bearcat web PIN that you have been using to log on to the MyLander portal and click “Submit”. Doing so will reset your MyLander password to match your email password so that you can access your web mail through MyLander. Once you have done this, you will no longer be able to log on to MyLander with your Bearcat Web PIN as a password — you will use your email password. Return to Top 27.
