I called some paranoid asshole who recorded my prank and Caller-IDed my phone number. What do I do now?
First of all, remember the #1 rule. Method 1: Stick to your guns. Unless you threatened him with something really illegal, nothing says that you aren’t who you first said you were. You haven’t done anything wrong, and its certainly not worse than “Candid Camera” or any of those TV shows where they pull pranks on people. If you’re really worried, just let him think that he has beaten you and apologize. NOT for making a fake phone call, but for whatever reason you called him in the first place. STAY IN CHARACTER, just become sympathetic and let him win. Make the victim feel like its partly their fault. Say “Now you know we ain’t have no reason to be on the phone cussing each other out.*” as if both of you were at fault, but YOU’RE the one now extending your hand in reconciliation.
