Yes. The battery pack will determine which safety approval ratings apply. The UL/CUL rating information is molded on the body. Any Survivor LEDs that were made without the rating information ARE NOT APPROVED. Any Survivor LEDs that were made without the rating information CANNOT BE UPDATED.
