I bought a parking permit, but will no longer be attending Vancouver Island University. How do I get a refund?
Refunds are calculated as follows: Semester Permit refunds will only be offered for the first 10 days of the semester start in September and January at 50% of the semester permit value. Annual Permit refunds will only be offered until the 10th day after the start of the spring semester in January at 50% of the annual permit value. These refund policies apply to both student and employee permits. No other refunds will be offered. Drop by the Parking/Security office to request a refund. The permit MUST be turned in at this time. Top Towing Policy We chose to issue violations to vehicles in violation rather than towing if at all possible. In some instances however, it is necessary to tow vehicles immediately such as when a vehicle is; parked in a fire lane, parked in a Handicap stall without a permit, or parked in an employee lot with no permit or a student permit.
