I bought a fitted, satin ruby red dress to wear to a wedding at the end of March. What color of shoes should I wear and will it be too cold for strappy shoes?
I agree about the metallics. Black adds a lot of weight in the bottom and red is always safe. I am going to a wedding in May and all of the bride’s closest girlfriends are required to wear a red dress. I know I can always wear red shoes but I want to add a modern look so I am looking for a bronze strappy heel. Be careful with metallics because sometimes they can overpower an outfit if the wrong shade of metallic or the wrong style shoe. Pumps can be a little overpowering in a metallic. Choose wisely. Also for an added idea, look in the celeb magazines like People, OK etc. Look at the best dressed celeb section or “Who wore it best” section.
