I bought a cake mix that is peanut free, tree nut free, gluten free, dairy free, and egg free. Why can I bake a batch of cupcakes for my childs class?

I have enjoyed so many yummy homemade brownies, cupcakes, and cookies in past years. But, if you have peanut butter, walnuts, pistachios, Nutella, milk or eggs in your home, the cupcakes you bake may contain traces of these allergens. That’s why if there is any kind of allergy in your child’s classroom, we cannot allow home baked items from home to be shared by the class for a celebration.
