I belong to a listserve, so why should I use LawRex?
Listserves are simply not an efficient means for lawyers to exchange referrals with other lawyers. Most attorneys don’t participate in listserves, which means that many cases don’t find a qualified match. LawRex allows for broader searching and matching, and offers incentives for users to submit quality cases. Listserves are “noisy”, and it’s hard to judge whether a referral is high quality. On LawRex, lawyers view only the cases that apply to them, and users can gauge how trustworthy a case is based on the Contributor’s profile. Listserves don’t neatly allow lawyers to discuss referral fees and terms. On LawRex, referral fees and terms are outlined directly in the case description.
