I believe that a student from another prof’s class filled out a survey for my class – how could that happen?
Given the integration of the online survey system with registration (see FAQ 16) it is technically impossible for a student who is not enrolled in a given course to have access/ permission to complete the survey for that course. In rare cases, students may confuse one survey for another but these cases of human error are not thought to be widespread. To reduce the chances of such errors in the future, commencing Winter 2008 the instructor’s name and the course title will be prominently displayed on the screen during the entire time the survey is being completed for that course.
