I believe my computer has a virus. What are some ways that I can get rid of it without taking it to a shop?
You can protect your computer and remove all infections by doing the following: First of all, remove security already on the computer and put windows firewall on for a while. Then download and install avast anti-virus from http://www.avast.com And select yes when it says do you wish to schedual a boot scan. Then install Comodo firewall from http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/ This will protect from hackers 😉 If you are extra paranoid you can also install an antispyware for that little bit extra protection, I recommend the free version of spyware doctor from google packs. http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/go… Run all of these and you will have a secure pc for free 🙂 Hope this helps.
