Yes. First, thoroughly check the degree requirements for Journalism and Citizen Media and meet with your advisor. Second, fill out the Request to Switch to 2008/2009 Catalog form stating you will follow the current catalog. Bring or fax the form to the Communication Department office. Please note that once you fill out the form to switch to follow the 2008-2009 catalog, you may not switch back. Be aware that all students pursuing the degree may have specific Lower Level Major Requirements to complete (e.g. COM 2033 Visual Communication, IS 2101 Informatics: Computers and Your World, etc.).
