I attend several conferences a year, how is the SPMF unique?
Our location in the mountains of Colorado provides a unique resort-like atmosphere for the conference, putting musicians and music business representatives at a unique ease. It’s an atmosphere where real conversation can be had and real help given, not like the stuffy Q&A sessions in a hotel meeting room you get at most conferences. Even more importantly, the South Park Music Festival is also a community event where real music fans come out to experience bands they’ve never heard. Your showcase won’t be attended only by the bartender and the other bands on the bill. You get a chance to play for and make connection with real fans. Finally, with only 100 artists selected, this festival isn’t a cattle call where your band gets lost on a schedule with hundreds of other bands or passed over while attendees flock to select “featured showcases.” Our schedule gives you a chance to play for the people you need to play for.
