I assume this answer is only speaking with regard to linuxs ability to play games, but It seems to hint that they cannot be played from the HD at all once it is installed. Could you please clarify?
Regards Daniel ps. If it is possible to play games from the HD after installing linux to boot from a dash, could you please direct me to an installation guide that would help with setting this up. If you’re wanting to play backed-up games, either on DVDs or hard disk, then you’ll need to go somewhere else (http://www.xbox-scene.org) to find what you’re looking for. The XBox Linux project has two mods, software (MechAssault) and hardware (Cromwell), and neither will run backup games. Sorry! BTW, if you’re just wanting to play backup games, you don’t need Linux at all.
