I applied to the Nursing program and received a letter telling me I’ve been accepted to “pre-nursing.” Does this mean I’m in the Nursing program?
No it does not. Acceptance to Pre-nursing means only that you’ve been accepted by DMACC and can enroll in courses that will prepare you to meet the entry requirements for the Nursing program. You are considered to be a “Pre-nursing” applicant until you complete all entry requirements for the Nursing program. When all entry requirements are met, Admissions will send a letter telling you that you have been accepted into the Nursing program and the approximate semester you can anticipate starting the program.
