I applied for loans to conver expenses not charged by the University. When will I receive a refund check?
Aid in excess of your University charges may not be disbursed until the first day of classes (Dept of Education federal requirement). If all of your financial aid has been credited to your account and a credit balance exists before the first day of classes for each semester, refund checks are generated and available for pick up in Esch Hall the first day of classes. Aid continues to be disbursed to student accounts as it is received. Refund checks are available each Friday for credit balances created on or before Wednesday of the same week. We cannot hold a refund to cover charges in a subsequent semester.
