I applied for a position a few weeks ago and still havent been contacted for an interview. What should I do?
The San Francisco Zoo is a desirable employer and we receive hundreds of resumes annually. Qualifying resumes are forwarded to the recruiting committee or hiring manager. These resumes are review by the committee or manager and this process may take several weeks. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contact by phone or e-mail. If the position has a closing date, the position will remain open and we will continue accepting resumes until that closing date. Interviews will be scheduled following the close date. If the position is filled and you are not chosen for an interview, you should receive an e-mail notification when the position is filled. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of resumes we receive, we are unable to respond to each applicant individually.
