A. The market isn’t always willing to give a high probability trade. That is just how it is. When volatility is very high, it is easy to find high probability trades and get a credit large enough to justify the risk. That is because high volatility means there is a high demand for options. When volatility is very low, it is very hard to find a credit large enough to justify a high probability trade. That is because low volatility means low demand, and low prices. If you want to trade high probability trades you must wait for the market to give you a trade worth taking. You should also remember that you can place a Good-Till-Cancelled (GTC) order with your broker. We will often place the order GTC for a week and if we are filled then great, if not then we didn’t want it.
