I am using the “Genotype Query Form” to retrieve SNPs from a large region on human chromosome 19. Could you send me one big file covering the area, rather than me looking up small chunks of it?

We plan to have an efetch utility in the near future that will have the capability you are looking for, but for now there are two options: 1 Use the genotype report API which includes a Perl script that contains examples that can be modified. Please Note: it is recommended that you download no more than 1 million base pairs at a time since our web servers will timeout if the request is too large.2 We have all of the genoptypes available in XML for download by chromosome number in the human genotype subdirectory in the dbSNP FTP site. Please Note: the data is sorted by rs number rather than location.
