I am using Personal Machinist revision 5.12 and I am using the standard style menu. Why are the CAM icons grayed out?
The standard style menu does not contain the command files to process machining routines. To access the machining routines, you must use the “newmenu” style menu. *I am using Personal Machinist revision 5.1, why can’t I compile my new postprocessor? Personal Machinist revision 5.1 was shipped without the necessary command file to compile postprocessors. To obtain the command file, please refer to our web site library at: “www.ptc.com/support/cs_cv/support/personal_designer.htm”. Download the “PC.COM” file into your “c:\pd6\bin” directory. To compile a postprocessor, type the following command: “PC” and hit the return key.
